The aim of this 'Network Update' is to provide all BioClip promoters and supporters both past and present of an important decision recently taken by the Anagen board of directors to suspend sales of the BioClip wool harvesting process.
This important decision was made to allow the company to focus on the investigation of potential cost savings in the production of the BioClip system.
We have listened to the early adopters and to those who have "come on board" since Heiniger assumed the marketing function. The clear message we have received is that the product is expensive when compared with conventional shearing methods. Although it was never our intention to compare costs of the BioClip process to conventional shearing costs we have to admit and accept that woolgrowers have used this as a benchmark without taking to account the numerous benefits associated with the biological harvesting method.
Recent test marketing conducted at significantly discounted price levels was warmly met by growers. This support has provided the impetus for us to focus on reducing the cost of the product.
To those who have adopted the BioClip method in their annual wool harvesting programmes we are able to provide some inventory on a forward order priority basis only.
If you consider that you fall into this category we ask that you please register on the registration page on this website at your earliest convenience, so that we can take your interest to consideration.
Providing that volumes support economical production we will consider interim production runs.
We apologise for any inconvenience this decision may cause. We appreciate your past support and look forward to being of service to you in the future.
